Hey guys,
Big thanks to everyone who made this weekend’s races a thing to remember. Each of you went well above just getting on a boat to go sailing and the weekend wouldn’t have worked without it. So for grabbing some food, for delivering the boat, for loaning a car, for bringing coffee – in addition to sailing your asses off – I thank you!
Saturday saw some tough wind where we could have used a reefable main or another body on the rail. I should have protested Loki which would have secured a first place overall instead of second. I should have jibed immediately after the windward rounding in the last race for a better line to the finish. A lot of the other boats broke stuff and we didn’t. Not bad.
Sunday saw some lighter winds with some pretty good sailing but still some problems pointing. Last race the only race we finished first with no one correcting on us.
Pretty good overall.
So thanks again!
And see you soon!
Jason
